Key Responsibilities


  • Responsible for design of an integrated leadership and people development (LPD) curriculum and ensure it is relevant and aligned with organizational leadership strategy and developments. The curriculum also serves as a learning roadmap to inform staff of suitable training through career passages and milestones; and provide relevant training for step-up competencies to equip staff for current and next level of roles and responsibilities.
  • Manage external training consultants to deliver LPD programs, to ensure best-in-class training experience and maximise knowledge application and retention through effective pre and post course reinforcement support.
  • Source and execute leadership and behavioural assessments independently, or together with Talent Management; and curate relevant individualized leadership interventions for senior leaders to close identified competency gaps and equip them for current and future roles. This includes curating suitable leadership and executive programmes, conferences, roundtables, among others, from Centres of Excellence/ Institutes of Higher Learning relevant to individual’s training needs and/or portfolio responsibilities.
  • Co-develop leadership content for senior leader Management Trainers to as part of ‘leader-as-coach’ culture, to impart leadership and business knowledge as well as experience back to the Organization and increase engagement across different leader levels.
  • Periodic review of in-house continuing education schemes to ensure relevance and alignment with the organisation’s and national workforce initiatives
  • Ensure continued relevance and best-in-class orientation programme as part of onboarding of new joiners.
  • Increase focus on leadership and people development concerns and competencies across the organisation.
  • Manage all logistics and administration matters, with support from the Learning Shared Services Team, pertaining to leadership training

 

Requirements



  • Possess a University Bachelor's Degree
  • Minimum 5 years of working experience in a Learning & Development role, preferably in Leadership and People Development and/or Talent Management domains
  • WSA Advanced Certificate in Training & Performance (ACLP) or WSQ Advanced Certificate in Training & Assessment (ACTA)
  • WSQ Diploma in Design and Development of Learning for Performance (DDDLP) or WSQ Diploma in Adult and Continuing Education (DACE), will be an advantage
  • Ability to present well with strong interpersonal and communication skills, with good stakeholder management skills
  • Resourceful, Analytical and good conceptual skills
  • Data Analytical skills
